Uma mãe à procura de um peluche engraçado que ajudasse a ensinar a filha a falar, ficou surpreendida quando o cãozinho violeta que ofereceu à sua filha de quatro anos começou a cantar: "se estás contente e sabe-lo, fode comigo, se estás contente e sabe-lo, fode comigo, se estás contente e sabe-lo e realmente queres mostrá-lo, fode comigo!"

Leigh McPherson andava à procura de um brinquedo que a ajudasse a ensinar a filha a falar, mas apanhou um choque no momento em que o cãozinho começou a dizer asneiras no meio da canção.

A mãe ficou estupefacta. "Pus a tocar três e quatro vezes. Não havia confusão sobre o que 'Violet' [o peluche] estava a dizer", disse ao jornal diário ‘Sun'.

Os fabricantes do brinquedo defendem que o cão tem um sotaque americano e que na verdade diz ‘ladra'. A empresa enviou entretanto outro modelo, que garantiram não ter apetência para dizer asneiras.
