25 de Abril é feriado porque....eu faço anos!!!

bem , alem de ser o meu dia de folga amanha dia 25 Abril comemora-se o dia da revolução , uma revolução inédita em todo mundo , O golpe de estado militar do dia 25 de Abril de 1974 derrubou, num só dia, o regime político que vigorava em Portugal desde 1926, sem grande resistência das forças leais ao governo, que cederam perante a revolta das forças armadas.de ditadura sem um único tiro nem vitimas , em vez de brutalidade o povo punha cravos(flores) no cano das armas da tropa , aqui fica uma breve historia do 25 Abril

Naturalmente que já ouviste falar no 25 de Abril de 1974, mas provavelmente não conheces as coisas como os teus pais ou os teus avós que viveram nesta época. Sabias que o golpe de estado do 25 de Abril de 1974 ficou conhecido para sempre como a "Revolução dos Cravos"? Diz-se que foi uma revolução porque a política do nosso País se alterou completamente. Mas como não houve a violência habitual das revoluções (manchada de sangue inocente), o povo ofereceu flores (cravos) aos militares que os puseram nos canos das armas. Em vez de balas, que matam, havia flores por todo o lado, significando o renascer da vida e a mudança! O povo português fez este golpe de estado porque não estava contente com o governo de Marcelo Caetano, que seguiu a política de Salazar (o Estado Novo), que era uma ditadura. Esta forma de governo sem liberdade durou cerca de 48 anos! Enquanto os outros países da Europa avançavam e progrediam em democracia, o regime português mantinha o nosso país atrasado e fechado a novas ideias. Sabias que em Portugal a escola só era obrigatória até à 4ª classe? Era complicado continuar a estudar depois disso. E sabias que os professores podiam dar castigos mais severos aos seus alunos? Todos os homens eram obrigados a ir à tropa (na altura estava a acontecer a Guerra Colonial) e a censura, conhecida como "lápis azul", é que escolhia o que as pessoas liam, viam e ouviam nos jornais, na rádio e na televisão. Antes do 25 de Abril, todos se mostravam descontentes, mas não podiam dizê-lo abertamente e as manifestações dos estudantes deram muitas preocupações ao governo. Os estudantes queriam que todos pudessem aceder igualmente ao ensino, liberdade de expressão e o fim da Guerra Colonial, que consideravam inútil.
